Profile section
You get to explore all the features outlined above, and post your contributions here. Made a major contribution to the site, or added needed support to your charity? Your profile automatically tracks the contributions you've made.
Go ahead and brag; its okay.
Within the Profile section you will also be able to manage other aspects of your membership, using the tabs toward the top of the screen:
- Manage Friends - when viewing another user's Profile, you'll have the option to Add them as a Friend. When you add a Friend, you automatically become their Friend as well. Keeping a list of Friends is an easy way to keep track of the contributions being made by peers in your areas of interest.
- Manage Your goGroups - We've already discussed the goGroups within the Advocacy section. This tab in your profile provides a list of your goGroups with links to the goGroup resources.
- Post pictures to a Gallery - Click the Edit Gallery button to be able to add images. (Note: this function is currently in development.)
- Sign up on the Volunteer Board using AdvocateMe! - When you fill out the AdvocateMe! form, your skills and expertise will be posted on the Volunteer Board. You may be contacted by a person or an organization in need of services that you can provide.
