What is a breadcrumb?

Like Hansel and Gretel leaving a trail...its a way to pick your way back from where you came.  On the upper left of this screen is a breadcrumb:  Home...dermAdvocate Tour...Tour FAQs.  You can click on dermAdvocate Tour or Home to back-navigate.

What's a hotlink?

A hotlink is a word or phrase that may be (mouse) clicked to lead to another area of content or another site.  It is highlighted in a contrasting color to discern that it is a link.

What is navigation?

Just as traveling with a map leads you places, so does navigating.  Clicking on a highlighted word, or an area on the site and...you've navigated!

What's a browser?

A browser is software that allows your computer to navigate the Internet.  Examples are Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari.

What does threaded mean?

Threaded (like a threaded discussion) is like a strand or line; it can be followed from beginning to end.
